The Hidden Throwback Cafe that You Should Not Miss: Lao Chu Cafe

How long haven’t you checked in a cafe? We’re fortunate that the world is healing slowly from the current pandemic. Tadaaa! It’s time to check in again to get the most instagrammable photos!
Situated right next to an old street lane at Nibong Tebal, Lao Chu Cafe is a perfect place to have a sumptuous meal while rewinding the precious throwback memories.

Although it’s a throwback cafe, it features a menu of food consisting common western and local dishes. For example, it has Aglio Olio Spaghetti, Hawaii Pizza, Nasi Lemak, Tomyam Fried Rice and more! Well, all the foods are moderately priced and quite instagrammable.

Apart from the food, Lao Chu Cafe also offers a wide range of cold and hot beverages. It’s recommended to try out their milk tea series. It’s only RM 9.90 for one with boba!

Well, I’m not going to highlight too much on their food and beverage. There’s another worthwhile point to be mentioned: The cafe fulfils every type of demand: Romantic couple date, sweet family outing, exciting friend gathering and quiet self-reflection.

The tables are set both outdoor and indoor. The outdoor is well-decorated with romantic lights while the indoor is designed with a throwback style. The customers are also able to access to the first floor by getting up the wooden stairs.

Okay! It’s almost the end for today’s confession. Don’t forget to check in at the newest point at Nibong Tebal:

You would probably ask me, “How new is the check-in point?”. Well! Lao Chu Cafe is a new cafe which has just launched less than a month!

You would probably ask me again, “Why do you feature the cafe in your article?”.
Well, because I’d already checked in on their second day of opening [So PROUD]. It surprised me with its cosy environment. Although our drinks were served slightly slower than I expected, but it’s forgivable as it’s new. I believe they’ll improve from time to time to offer their best service. It’s definitely another best place to to enjoy a cup of milk tea while having a slow talk at the small quaint town.
